Love this place for coconut shrimp! I frequent the Plano location and enjoy the consistent quality. The service is great, especially for a fast causal restaurant, and I like the laid back Hawaiian island vibes.
Pleasantly surprised!!! I was not expecting the explosion of flavor nor the abundance of food that comes in each dish. The exterior gave me false impression of a basic white wall'ed dining experience but they definitely jazzed up the space with live plants, surf boards and fishing decor. This concept is a stunning example of mastering a few menu items and executing them exceptionally well... 6 pieces of shrimp, a salad and buttered rice. I had the sweet and spicy shrimp & my husband had the lemon herb both with the ginger salad dressing. My husband is not a small dude, when he eats he expects volume of food to sustain his very active life style and CoCo Shrimp definitely delivered!! I even had three shrimps & rice left over for lunch the next day. Both our orders were delivered to the table in a very quick amount of time - so perfect for those weekday quick lunches away from the office. My sweet and spicy shrimp was deliciously warm and zingy and full of flavor. The butter rice was definitely soft and every grain was delectable. I definitely appreciated the hand washing station to quickly wash off any sticky or shrimpy juices before we left to go about the rest of our day. Over all I cannot stress enough about how much I enjoyed our midweek lunch here and can see this being a regular spot in our food rotation.
Hadn't been here in awhile. Walked in and there was a big line and most tables were filled. Obviously word has gotten out how delicious this place is. It's the cutest atmosphere. Super fun vibe while still being counter service food. All the workers are very nice and courteous. Went with coco shrimp tacos which were delicious!
The food is really good and the price is reasonable. The staff was incredibly friendly and the ambiance had my husband and I reminiscing about our vacation in Hawaii. We will definitely be back.
Food was great. I had the sampler and the sweet and spicy one is really good just a bit fatty. Definitely try the seasoned rice, it's a bit heavy but definitely worth the try. The only thing is that they serve the food in to go plates even when you dine in and I'm not a fan of that.
Can't beat the meal for the price! I got 6 big plump and juicy coconut shrimp smothered in both sweet and spicy sauce, tons of rice with butter and a salad with poppyseed vinaigrette all for $12.25. Order was ready in 7 minutes and it's nice and hot and fresh. Restaurant is clean and portions are on point. Can't wait to try the tacos and sampler.
The customer service is wonderful. The ambiance is super cute with a station to wash your hands if needed... (btw, we all need it). The food is great "fast food" but kicked up a notch.
We love Coco Shrimp! We usually get the sampler and their portion size is very generous. Our favorite flavor was sweet and spicy. We also get their cilantro sauce on the side to use as a dipping sauce! The service is very quick and they give us our food at our table. The decor and ambiance of Coco Shrimp transports you to Hawaii!
